This image shows Hurricane Lili connected to another large storm over the northeast US.
A large image of Lili itself is also available (1.55 Mb GIF). Note the tiny fish-hook shaped Bermuda in the second clear zone from the center of Lili to it's west, slightly south.
A more detailed look over New England on the next day shows the last stages of the killer northeaster.
AVHRR channels 1, 2, and 4 were colored red, green, and blue. Channel 4 was reversed to make the clouds more white.
