Smoke plumes from 3 major California fires are visible in this image:
AVHRR Channels 3 and 4.
Gives a better view of the fire areas themselves once you know
where to look from the smoke plume image. This sensor appears to have
saturated in some areas, perhaps due to the warm temperatures over the
region.
