Oregon
Two large fires is seen in northeast Oregon.
The threatened town of Dale is labeled on this map.
The large fires near the west side of this image are near the
small town of Dale, Or. In the center Hell's Canyon still has scattered
fires. To the east in eastern Idaho are seen numerous scattered small
fires.
Use this map to spot the smaller detected hot spots.
Use this map with the channel 3 view to locate some of the smaller
fires not detected by the software (a second web browser window makes this
easy to do).
Washington
A fire on the Colville Indian Reservation is seen in north-central Washington.
Southern British Columbia
The fire near Lytton, BC, seen on
last night's view
is still visible. To it's southwest, near Vancouver, a small hot spot is seen.
The interpretation as a fire is not certain, other cases of apparent hot
spots in cities have been seen. The Colville Indian Reservation fire is
visible in north-central Washington.
Wyoming
The fire on the Clark Fork of the Yellowstone River is no longer visible.
Scattered grass fires from last evening's storms
