This was an ascending pass (moving south to north) of NOAA 14. This image shows channel 2 and extends from Venezuela in South America to about the Artic Circle north of Hudson Bay. The pass was at 18:24 Z 26 Dec 1996. Clouds can be seen forming in the cold air as it crosses the warm gulf stream just east of the US coast.
