The accompanying gif files were digitized imagery from a video camera mounted on Flip. The camera was mounted on the JHU/APL radar antenna, 19.5 m above the surface. The camera pointed in the same direction as the antenna, which was rotated about at various times throughout the experiment. Data on the pointing angles are available separately. The camera was actually mounted under the antenna, so the metal surface visible in the top of the images is the underside of the antenna enclosure. The original video was recorded onto 8 mm tapes. In order to provide an overview to other COPE investigators we digitized one single frame near the beginning of eash 2 hour tape, and one frame about one hour into the tape. These are the files that are included here. Each file name begins with the letter L (for historical reasons), and includes the day number and time (UTC in HHMMSS format). If anyone needs additional video data, either analog or digital, please contact Bruce Gotwols at JHU/APL. Be aware though that duplicating or digitizing video entails some effort, so all requests may not be honored.
