IDL has the ability to make high quality viewgraphs and other graphics if it is used properly. Information on how to do this is included on this page. A number of utilities are available to S1R IDL users that are of interest.
It will be assumed that the final graphics result will be saved in an image file of some type. Much of the information below is relevant to creating such an image. Examples of good and bad techniques will be given.
