Impact of comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 on Jupiter


The large image of Jupiter was taken by the Voyager Spacecraft
during its flyby. The small image is from the Goddard Space Flight
Center page for this event and shows the geometry of the impacts
as viewed from earth.
