Ocean Remote Sensing Group Science Fair Award - 2002

On February 13, 2002, Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Prince George's County, Maryland held it's annual science fair. Two members of the Ocean Remote Sensing Group, Frank Monaldo and Donald Thompson participated in the judging. The entire science fair involved hundreds of projects and dozens of judges. Of the projects we were able to visit, the Ocean Remote Sensing Group singled out a particular project that we found the most intriguing and awarded it a certificate of recognition.

This year, were were very happy to give this award to Ariela Haber for her project entitled How Temperature Affects Viscosity. Ms. Haber was also awarded first place in the Physics category in the Eleanor Roosevelt Science Fair.
