Ocean Remote Sensing Group Science Fair Award - 2000

On February 16, 2000, Eleanor Roosevelt High School held it's annual science fair. Three members of the Ocean Remote Sensing Group, Frank Monaldo, Rick Chapman, and Steven Babin participated in the judging. The entire science fair involved hundreds of projects and dozens of judges. Of the projects we were able to visit, the Ocean Remote Sensing Group singled out a particular project that we found the most intriguing and awarded it a certificate of recognition. This year, this award was given to to Dana Pinchotti for her project The Moon and Barometeric Pressure. Ms. Pinchotti was also awarded first place in the Earth and Space Sciences category in the Science Fair.
